Our Engagement Pictures

We had never had professional pictures made before - so I thought the camera shyness/ "is my arm fat showing?" "are my eyes to squinty?" ... might get the best of us... or more so me, guys don't worry about that stuff. Fortunately, the girl we had do our engagement pictures seemed like an old friend after about 5 minutes and we had a blast! We adored her - and once we got some of our pictures back, we were even more of a fan.

My love runs deep for this guy...

Now I need one of you to share with me the best place to order a canvas print! Can't wait to get one of these hung up on the wall.

So - your job is... Where should we order a canvas print from (would love some info on promo codes as well) and which one of these pictures is worthy to be showcased on the wall? Y'all are the best. Thank you!!

Well that was fun... now I'll go focus my attention on more important things besides canvas prints ;) back to the wedding planning!

  1. I love canvas on demand. They almost always have groupons for like 40 for a 16x20. I have ordered 2 for myself and ordered one for my parents.
I love the last picture .

  3. They are wonderful! OK- here is my 'which one should I have blown up for all time on a canvas' thought: I used to babysit a lot, and lots of the families I sat for had some version of the huge blown up engagement/some event when they were younger picture on canvas or framed. Here's the thing. If it was the kind of picture where you could see their whole bodies/outfit...well, by the time that picture is 10 or more years old, it just looked dated. Because of the clothes-- you were like "oh wow, so this picture was in 1992, OBVIOUSLY." But the people that had the shots that were more just their faces...when you see the pictures later you're like "oh, look how happy and young they are!"...because you don't have the context of the clothing to date it. Ha. This is like a novel. So really, either way is fine, but if you stick with a closer-up, you might find the picture doesn't look 'old' as soon. :) However, if I were you, I'd have a hard time not choosing that last one with the tree and water-- GORG!!

  4. Absolutely gorgeous!!! :)

I'd get the third or the last one on a canvas. When you low up a picture, it's best in my opinion to make sure it's not a close up. :)

  5. I actually get all of my photos and canvas prints done at Costco, believe it or not. They have good prices and professional quality printing.
